The Beatles Story in Liverpool. Doesn't really tell you much that any fan won't already know, but a few interesting pictures and items to see. Bloody annoying listening to a guided tour on headphones and having to wait behind dawdlers and seflie takers The shop at the end is full of expensive tat. An okay way to pass a couple of hours, but in my opinion not worth the £20 entrance fee. The café at the end is a nice place to chill and people watch, and the Baileys hot chocolate was lovely. |

Went up the Shard recently, £32 to go up a lift and walk around at the top for 20 minutes or so. I could have added a glass of champagne to the ticket for an additional £16.50
The views from up there were good though
I’ve done it and don’t need to do it again |

Wakehurst place, not somewhere I would normally go but free entry with my blue light card and half price for my husband, not gonna lie, wasn't really somewhere we would go again, even though on the way there we were like "should we get a national trust membership"...the answer is no lol. |

Tamworth Castle. The layout is a bit confusing, especially as a walkway was closed when we went due to being unsafe, so we had to go back on ourselves. But really good. Quite a bit to see and do, plus a small, reasonably priced gift shop at the end |

Yes, tried there first but there weren’t any walk-ins on the day. Will definitely book for when I’m next down in London |

When my mum comes to stay with me, we go do touristy things. So over the last couple of years we've done most of the big London attractions. Last time she was up we went to the Globe and Tate, and the British Museum x |

Not all that North of North London |
Was in London yesterday, walked from Hyde Park starting near the Albert Hall, passed Buckingham Palace, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and up to Kings Cross.
Love it all. Loved it before I moved to London, when I lived there and still love it all these years after moving out. So yes I'd always recommend the London tourist trail, be it obvious or somewhere more obscure |

"Beamish museum yesterday "
I loved my visit there when I was little. Would love to go back.
Last place I visited was probably Craigievar Castle in Aberdeenshire. It's a pink castle said to be the inspiration for the Cinderella Castle.
We got a personal guided tour cause we had missed the scheduled one by about 15 mins. The guy was really good and kept us amused, but it's not a huge castle so doesn't take long to get round. |
