Do You Fall For Marketing?

I generally don't but I'll see the word "PROTEIN" in large letters on food or drinks and I'm all over it regardless of what else is in it and I'll buy it straight away

Is there anything you'll fall for or are you generally zeroed in on what you want?

.

Yeah. Shouldn't. Should really know better for... reasons.

But if I see pumpkin spice on something, I'm buying it.

Once upon a time yes, at times even hints of FOMO but having become wiser that has changed.

In fact the more aggressive the marketing the more it turns me away. And if your Ads interupt my viewing pleasure... The product may as well not exist!

Hard agree there. 30 second unskippable ad? Hope it was worth it because no chance I'm buying it

Oddly, I've never bought anything during those time as never felt they had what I needed on sale

Yip gets me ever time

Flash sale ends in 3 hours

Ooo that dress is lovely those heels or boots

Ooo look 60% off for the next 3 hours order now

Look again next week down 80%

Could have saved money if that damm flash sale timer wasn’t there

Yep! If it's got a pretty bow on it or is in shiny packaging then I'm buying it regardless of what the product is.

Black Friday and Amazon prime day deals can be brilliant as long as you do your research and only buy what you actually want.

The amount of times I get parcels and I haven't a clue what I've ordered is a little worrying.

When "she" used to wear just hold ups, heels and a filthy smile, she could have whetever she wanted.

Marketing ?

Manipulation ?

Both ?

Marketing is very powerful. Some of the promotional pictures and literature on here sucks me right in. However in the real world sometimes the product doesn't match the advertising. However I'd say much is true in reverse on here too. So in the wise words of Public Enemy, don't believe the hype.

I’m not in the slightest. I don’t need to be influenced by marketing to buy something. If I want something I’ll do my own research on it and make a decision.

When I see things that are labelled that way I stay clear personally.

Cinnamon. Anything containing Cinnamon will entice me. It's the spice of life itself.

Even if you tattoo the word "cinnamon" on Mèlí's derrière I may be tempted. But only just....
