got a bad case of CBA today. Every email I read at work is pissing me off. I'm tired and grumpy. Went to get my COVID jab this morning and even that pissed me off as they needed to verify why I was offered one like I was some sort of fraud.
Then tried to sort my prescription out as one of my repeat items is out of stock nationally and no one chose to tell me which means I now have none as I don't stock pile medication and arrange my repeats to come in as I need new meds. No one at the drs could help so fuck knows what to do about that.
Today can just get in the bin. I just want to drink hot chocolate and crochet my temperature blanket. |

Doesn't mean my 'problems' are irrelevant to me though does it. I can have minor problems and still empathise and appreciate that other have different ones.

I have the same issue with meds, they never tell you till you go to collect and if it runs out I get terrible knock on effects. |

The pharmacist should at least know of a similar drug that can do the job of the one you usually use
What’s the out of stock one? You never know someone might have some |

That doesn’t sound great at all. There are a lot of medications that are out of stock currently. The pharmacy should be able to assist with suggesting an alternative in most cases in order for you to request a different prescription from your GP. I don’t understand why the GP or pharmacy haven’t been helpful.
Get yourself that hot chocolate you deserve it x

That’s not even remotely funny. As someone whose friend was diagnosed with cancer last August (2021) she died just 7 months later. |

Apparently they contact my surgery as the alternative option is also out of stock but allegedly they didn't respond to them.
I get the NHS is stretched but this isn't just an 'oops we ran out.....soz' moment. It is a known national shortage. They have a database of those who take these medications. If there is a supply issue they should contact us and let us know. I got a letter in the summer advising me of know side effects for another medication that I am on so they do have the facility to do this.
Now I have to wait for a callback from someone to discuss options.
Luckily it isn't life threatening but it is key to managing a condition. If I'd have known there was a supply issue maybe I could have lowered my dose to eek my supply out longer. |

I hope you have access to all the medication you require. "
Thanks! When I did , I did , the NHS were actually great and acted fast.
For your repeats you could try Lloyds pharmacy app , it will deliver for free , you can log any medical charge exemptions or pre pay vouchers, it will remind you when your medication is running low and will tell you if it’s in stock and when not it will give you alternative pick up locations nearby. |

Not funny. My father has advanced liver cancer and has very little time left.
Also not in any way helpful to Evie. We do all have problems of our own, but can we try to be nice when someone does reach out? |

This however is useful information. Mondays can be a bit bloody awful, we all say things without thinking sometimes.

Lots of Rocky Horror stuff on You Tube if you are having withdrawal symptons.
My local village Pharmacy is very good and will go to the end of the earth to meet my requirements.
We do however have an unofficial pharmacy where one kind soul gathers up surplus medications which are still in date but no longer required by recipients for one reason or another, I have used this option a couple of times.
