I learned to crochet many years ago. I can sew a bit, but not knitting. I suppose not a relevant reply either

I was once on a 13 hour flight from Thailand. The woman next to me knitted constantly. The click clack of the needles and her digging me in the ribs with her elbow drove me mad.

I’ve tried to knit but I’m absolutely useless. I can do embroidery and cross stitch. I should learn to knit now I’m getting on a bit

I learnt how as a teen and picked it up again when my kids were small. Made a few toddler cardigans for them. But life gets busy and I have a piece sitting there this last few years that I keep meaning to finish

Best thing I knitted was a baby set with added marabou for a newborn. It was so pretty.

I expected this thread to reach 175 in about 10 mins.....

Disappointing.

I'm off out now. Knit some willy warmers while im gone.

Won't need much wool for most of the todgers here.......

Stop it, you’ll trigger another length or girth thread

You are the age to knit. Letting the side down there.

I would like that best thing I ever knit would have been a Stephen West shawl and some fancy socks.

Big fat long winter scarves. But I didn’t knit them. My mother did for my partner and me.
