"Wonderwall makes my lower intestine want to rise up and throttle me to save me from the predictable agony of someone joining in with the chorus "
Oh god, YES. I can tolerate it if I'm the only person in the room, but I don't need the warbling cat ensemble! |

Anything by Sam Smith. The worst is that warble they used for the James Bond movie. Heart radio was playing it every 8 songs during the Nightshift... Everyday... For a month... before the film was even released.
I had to warble it back, really really badly. Much to the general amusement of my colleagues.. |

Driver's License by Olivia Rodrigo.
1st time hearing it: Awwww poor thing, she's so vulnerable and raw, I feel so sorry for her.
50th time hearing it: Oh my God, just get over it you little shit |

"American pie as its about 3 hours long. Even worse when someone sings it on karaoke "
I think you'll find it's actually just under 9 minutes long, just a bit longer than Stairway to Heaven. Neither of which I've ever heard sung correctly as Karaoke! |

At the risk of sounding a bit Scrooge-ish, and following a stint working I. h Samuels at Christmas, all Christmas songs.... But particularly....
Do they know it's Christmas?
Any version. Makes me want to steal from charity boxes...

Massive Burt Bacharach fan, but I absolutely hate 24 hours from Tulsa. If you actually read the lyrics the guy seeking sympathy with his predicament is a complete wanker.
Also hate the Pina Colada song for the same reason.
I love song lyrics so when they annoy me I can’t enjoy the song. |

Everyone has a Bacharach phase until you realise that slick sound reminds you of the cocktail bar from hell . |

I can really relate to this as I used to work in retail. Early November right through to January, Christmas songs all day, every day.
I pray that I never meet Noddy Holder. |

I'm sure I'll get told off for saying this but "Whole lotta love" by Led Zeppelin. Makes me want to stick sharp pointy objects into my eardrums. Absolutely detest it. Followed with a close 2nd for "Get what you give" by the New Radicals.

I went to a disco where everyone did the actions for the song the DJ played!
James - Sit down: everyone sat down!
I took my best friend Eileen! Now I hate Dexys Midnight Runners! |
