There's good availability for the weekend you want. Excellent!

You tick the "wheelchair accessible room" box.

Instantly, there are no hotel rooms within a 25 mile radius.

OR

The hotel chain will only book the accessible rooms if you ring them directly. So you can't benefit from online booking discounts AND you have to phone Mon-Fri 9-5 and go through 20,000 menu options and wait on hold for ages.

AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!

We just want a weekend away, is that too much to ask?!

Sorry to hear that OP.

On slightly related news, was reading something on Twitter this evening about someone who had booked an apartment in Liverpool months ago for the dates of the Eurovision. They just had the booking cancelled due to a “booking error” .. the same apartment has now come up again for £20k for 5 days!!
