Soul II Soul for me will always be FairPlay - a true Brit soul funk classic.

Can't argue with that. I was 9 or 10 when that album came out, but my Mum LOVED it so a massive dose of nostalgia for me too.

I think the Soul II Soul sound actually owed a huge amount to Producer Nellee Hooper, Jazzie was more a lyrics and visuals guy.
