It's our first social back after the summer off tonight, Doughnut is on go sober for October, so not sure if I will follow him or if I will have a couple of beers or gins yet! |

I run out of Yorkshire tea easier and had tetleys instead. I know I should be ashamed but made it all good by going for a good slice of Yorkshire parkin rather than a biscuit |

I enjoy most well kept real ales. At home mostly drink cans of Abbot (my first real ale 50 years ago), and Hobgoblin ruby.
A friend weaned me off Southern Comfort onto Laphroig mmmmm. Despite hints, nobody has bought me any. 
My wife's "medicinal" hot milk with Glenfiddich (30 year old bottle) smells nice; trying one before she pigs it all...I was going to say hadn't improved with age...but trying a second glass.  |
