I am not sure if it's just me but does any of your hearts sink when you are chatting to a guy and then he says "I don't have a type"? Maybe it's in my head but my automatic thought is "he isn't fussy who he fucks, he just wants to fuck anything?"
While reading between the lines, he probably means he is attracted to all types of ladies but to me in comes across a little "you have a vagina, doesn't matter about anything else".

I get what you're saying but if you think about it, that means guy's can't win.
I've seen men berated on here for saying they like slender women "What's wrong with bigger women then? What about a real woman?". For saying they like bigger "real" women " Don't you know slim women can have curves too?". And then when they say they genuinely don't have a type, they get berated for being "desperate".

I think you are onto something. Whatever they say, all men have a 'type' they prefer, although this doesn't mean they cant be genuinely attracted to others who don't match this. |

We can’t win whatever we say.
I can hand on heart say I don’t have a ‘type’. My long term partners and have been polar opposites. From taller than me, to tiny. From a size 6, to a size 26. I kinda get a bit down when that’s seen as “he’s and any holes a goal” type. When it couldn’t be any further from the truth. I consider myself to be quite fussy.

It's just such a loaded question - no wonder dudes just withdraw and try to be diplomatic by saying something like "oh, I don't have a 'type'...". Don't read in to stuff in the worst light possible!

Exactly. I think if men want to specify what type of woman they want, then they should put it in their profile, after all, isn’t that what they are for?
Some men genuinely don’t have a type, they are more broad minded and might find a woman attractive based on personality and physical combined.
I am not particularly attracted to muscly men, but I have met one or two in the past who had amazing personalities, and that changes things a lot!
So maybe what guys say on some profiles is genuinely true, while some guys just want anything they can get!

Yeah. “I don’t have a type”, “I’ll do anything” “anyone want their pussy licked” etc etc. No thanks. Men it’s ok to like slim women, fat women, tall women, short women, dark women, blonde women. Anyone takes offence that’s their issue. Just perhaps refrain from the phrase “real woman”. |

Nah doesn't bother me. I don't really have a type either, more what happens to stand out about the person. Plus I like men/women, and often guys like men/women too. Wouldn't occur to me to think 'oh, he must think I look like a bloke then' |

I think the bigger sign that a lot of men on here will fuck anything with a vagina is when you first sign up.
When I re-joined, before I got around to adding any photos, including a profile photo, or writing my profile I was inundated by messages. In my first 8 hours I had nearly 200 messages.
Yet had no pic, or text at all.
Can be quite intimidating if you were a real newbie here.
I do think a lot of guys dont have a "type" purely because any hole is a goal.
Although I do think some guys dont have a specific type either. Its a minefield

I very definitely *do not* "have a type".
I am also actually pretty picky.
The "No, everyone has a type" and "Pah, to men, any hole's a goal" attitudes on here have actually made me reluctant to express any specific desires on here, to prevent them just being used as ammunition. |

There's another element to having a type for sex vs a relationship. People generally don't want to have a relationship with someone who lives a negative self destructive lifestyle, but that doesn't mean they aren't attracted to someone who is larger.
If you sit on the sofa every day eating multi packs of crisps and tubs of ice cream, you might still be appealing from a physical perspective to someone and have mutual sexual compatibility, but they'd probably not want a relationship with that person because of their negative life style.

No it doesn't bother me if a man says he hasn't got a type,because I don't have a particular type of guy I am attracted to either.My ex's are all polar opposites of each other in height,hair colour,build etc so I don't like it when I'm asked what type I like as I don't have one particular type.
I do however have to get on well with someone and be able have laugh with them and be myself around them. And any guy who says he hasn't a type I presume they are the same and not that they just aren't fussy about who they meet. |
