I usually refrain from such posts.
Given the level of rejection that men get on fab on a daily basis, is this possibly the best place for you right now?
I sincerely hope you find the help you require in more positive environments
Good luck |

As already mentioned, please seek medical help.
Speak to someone, there's nothing to feel embarrassed about. Open up about your thoughts and feelings. Sometimes there are root causes which need to explored.
Mental health illness comes in many forms. Believe me when I say we all go through are fair share of mental health issues at some point in our lives.
Even though you may struggle to even get out of bed some days, feel weak, not wanting to speak to or see anyone, have no appetite to eat, take baby steps in forcing yourself. For example, if you don't want to speak to anyone, just make that call. If you don't want to get out of bed, have the intention to get up and have a shower. Try playing some soothing music even if you don't want to.
I hate the saying, "man up" and phrases like this can make it difficult for us guys to open up.
If you ever want to chat OP, please PM me.
I want you to really think about this, "feelings comes from thought in the moment".
YOU ARE NOT ALONE. |

Irrational thought's are and will always be toxic. Rest assured they will pass. Tomorrow is a new day mate. As above please don't be afraid to contact me anytime. Its good to talk. Never underestimate what saying your worries out loud, even to a random stranger can do for you.
Its not as bad as you imagine I can promise you that

As others have said, speak to someone. Your GP is there, they will listen but I understand and know from experience that it's not always easy approaching them. If you're uncomfortable with approaching them try someone like MIND or Samaritans, both have people who will listen to you in a non judgmental way and can provide some help.
A walk can help as well, look up as you walk and try to focus on things you may not have notices before like cloud formations and nature, it may sound daft but it really helped me in times where I was low.
Take care OP |

Your feelings are valid. They might not be rational or serve you, but you shouldn't be ashamed and you should be kind to yourself.
Psychological distress can take many forms - apart from medical help or places like the Samaritans, it's difficult to know what to suggest. Websites like Mind may have more specific information for your particular needs.
I hope your burden is eased. |

My best advice to anyone, especially if you have Anxiety as well, is do something creative.
I teach Art Therapy and believe me, it works wonders, tried and tested for years and proven to help tremendously!
Creativity takes on many forms, like playing an instrument, drawing, painting, upcycling furniture, wood carving - you name it!
The moment you pick up an object, the therapy starts, because you are not thinking about things.
(Sorry this is long winded)
I’ve worked in the Mental Health sector since I left school, very passionate about it and I see what methods are used.
I hope you find some positivity, whatever you choose to do.
Take care. |
