How about a compromise, alternate weeks its Rant Thursday and the opposite week its Good News Thursday?

There is a chance that next Thursday may be good news Thursday, but in the meantime I'm going to grump and sulk and strop to my hearts content.

My good news , for us at least , is that I have fixed ( albeit temporarily ) the TV . That has saved a few hundred quid and will try to get a new switch and cable for it after Christmas .
