I couldn’t sleep so of course I started browsing new nail designs.
So ladies what’s your preference?
Natural or extensions?
Stiletto, coffin, almond, square, oval?
Colour? Do you opt for the same each time or switch it up? Classic red, nude, a vampy burgundy?
I’m getting mine redone today and opting for almond shaped extensions in baby pink with my index finger painted white with little pink love hearts |

I had acrylic for 2yrs and it killed my natural nails. They're actually really strong/long, but brittle so snap... Tried going gel but never got a uniform length. I miss my fakes soo much! The colour, designs were awesome |

My nails are currently all short except my pinky fingers! I can't type with long nails.
Plus I have a weird thing about nail varnish, I can FEEL it on my nails and it drives me mad.
So basically they're a mess!! |

I’ve become accustomed to typing with long nails, it was a nightmare at the beginning though

"Always Painted Nails and Toes Nails to accompany the Dress or Outfit Im wearing
Oh and Heels open toe "
Nice I have gel polish on both my toes and fingers so can’t change it that easily unfortunately! |

I prefer them raked down my back or dug into my butt cheeks
I do love a good set of well cared for nails and BB won't play unless she has had hers done - she feels naked without them. She was mortified when a place she had a set of nails put on filed her nails right down to stick the falseys on and ruined her nails for a month.
She's converting a van into a camper so they don't look the best right now
And I really wasn't expecting so many other people to be awake at this time. I've had a dodgy virus mess my sleep patterns up. |

I've naturally long nails so don't need extensions, I love a good gel but I don't like the condition of my nails afterwards so I just tend to polish, I mix the colours depending on the season, at the moment I'm loving dark orange.

I use to wear acrylics and loved them but when covid came in we weren't allowed them in work and with lockdowns also I stopped getting them done.
I now just do my own I use builder gel as my nails are quite brittle and it helps them to not break as easily and a nude polish usually. |

I have naturally long, strong nails so I just get them painted each month. I go to an amazing woman who is a nail artist. I spend his looking through Instagram and Pinterest at nail designs and then go and it takes her about 90 minutes to do them. It's like therapy!
This month, I've got blue and black. I'll get something for Halloween this month. I'm thinking purple and black and sparkly. |

Always a shellac pedi, aqua right now but will be red for the next set as I have Halloween parties coming up.
Hands always natural as I’m a terrible nibbler plus work in healthcare so no gels etc allowed |

I hate to see nails that are sharp, pointed. They resemble claws….. and I don’t think they look very nice at all.
I prefer long but with a classic rounded top. Currently fuchsia pink but back to red soon |

Nail polish doesn't really set on my nails , so I'll do them if I'm going somewhere for the weekend /evening, but they are battered within an hour generally .. I like electric blue or very dark colours |

My nails are medium length; not short at the moment but not too long. For sensory reasons/history of fiddling I don't like them long or extensions. Currently a pillarbox red, I'm sorely tempted to go deep green or matte black next time. I need to find a good nail artist - my old one has stopped for a bit. |

Natural short unpainted nails. I’ve never had anything on my nails other than nail varnish. I can’t have nice nails with my job and I also couldn’t be arsed with the maintenance. I like the look of the French manicure though. |

See I find extensions lower maintenance! Get them done and don’t have to even think about them for 3-4 weeks |

Tricky with fake nails, when you grab a guys ass as he's pounding away, do you ever get nails breaking off when you squeeze too hard? Occupational hazard I'm sure, but all that effort seems a shame |

Bad bitch ends up with my skin under hers as she scrapes my back and digs them in my ass - seem sturdy enough to me |

Problem is I have a very high pain threshold and even with a safe word I've let it get as far as broken bones and stitches before now. Not easy explaining it at A&E. |

My daughters and granddaughters get theirs done regular! Acrylic never had mine done! Not good for nails! Then they break shd hear the screams when their natural nail gets torn! Plus the cost every month! Couldn't justify it! Paint them from time to time! But they do look lovely x |

I've had acrylic overlays and acrylic nails for as long as I can remember now. I always go for fancy design....never natural. My nail tech always comments to other customers about me (in a good way lol).
Mid to long coffin nails.
This month I've got Matt black with white cobwebs and a Jewell spider on each middle finger. |

When depression hits my nails are the last thing to stop and the first to be reinstated as I find myself again. Tried acrylic once and hated them! They lasted 3 days…
Currently BIAB in almond shape and a glittery neutral. Tomorrow they will be back to scarlet, my go to favourite and always make me smile. |

I do like coffin shape, it elongates the fingers |

I’ve got builder gel on my natural long nails, at the moment they are a grey glitter with my ring fingers having a petrol foil design. I tend to go for darker colours as I think I’m too pale for lighter colours |

Does that BIAB stuff air dry or does it need a UV lamp like Gel? Looks a better fit for BB and I promised I would do her nails for her properly as she has cut and coloured my hair for a year now.
Mind the starter kits not cheap if you find you don't get on with it |

It requires a UV lamp to cure!
I’ve tried to do it myself but honestly I can’t seem to get it to harden like the nail techs do, not sure what I’m doing wrong, maybe it’s the brand I’m using, so I stopped and went back to the shop. |
