Yes, 4 years together, living together for 3 of those and he text me at a work on a Monday morning.
Went straight home and put all his stuff in bin bags & left them at the front door.
Not my finest moment  |

Surely sometimes it's better by text though? When I was 18 I travelled 3 hours to meet my boyfriend just to have him dump me as soon as I got off the train.
I'd much have preferred a text that time around. |

Wow a fair few then? Basically I'm still friends with ex gf (known each other for 9 years) and he gave me the ultimatum. Then radio silence when I tried it explain things. We've only dated for a month!! Suppose that's the price to pay for dating a much younger guy? |

I got out after my baby girl was 2 , I not even knew we had brake up … i left cause she was being evil to me …
Never came to know why , not even a sms
I never cheated or tried to or anything
Really don’t get it .

You just tell them with honesty that is not going to happen .
My ex Bev we are great friends . Was my honesty that kept us friends and she is an Angel who helped me a lot after we brake up .

Wow, Tom, a post that made me actually think  . I think I'd prefer to be ghosted than have a text. Being ghosted let's you know they don't know how to deal with it, so chickened out. Receiving a text let's you know they think a text is fine, and I'd rather they were ignorant than rude. |
