With a park? You having an outdoor meet or taking the kids with you and leaving them in the park?

Yeah but Google and such sites often give search results to whatever company pays them the most, even if it's not the ideal company.

References/ reviews from real people can be better.

I was referring to the use Google as a means of looking up other sites such as TripAdvisor and other sites to find reviews

Hello OP,

You do realise that a quick check on a site like Expedia will show plenty of hotels in the E9 area, but with a differential of £500 or more between the lowest and highest price. How is anyone here meant to advise you how best to spend your money given that noone knows anything about you or your financial circumstances?

You have not specified whether your meeting is for work or sexual reasons, but it's probably fair to assume the latter given the nature of the site and this being your first post in a forum. In which case have you thought of asking the person your meeting as they are likely to be in the area and be better advised?

A word to the wise, if you are travelling a long way and spending money on a hotel then make sure you are sure who you are arranging to meet.

It is odd that in your original post you said you had a meeting, but then you've said later that you have no meet. As this is your first time posting in the fora you might do well to understand that people here can only advise you based on what you tell us and the full story always helps.

To be fair in the op he did say a meeting and not a meet. I took it as meaning a work meeting which he needs to stay overnight in the area for.

I do agree with all your other points though
