Then take a break, if you feel you need to. You don't have to delete your profile - just hide it. Then you can come back whenever you're ready. It happens to all of us, one way or another, sometimes.

I don't think the number of meets or verifications she has I'd relevant to the question really, just jealous guys wishing they had that many meets 
OP if it's due to personal reasons you are the only one who can decide. Just because you are on the site doesn't mean you have to meet. You can enjoy the chatrooms and forums for a bit of an escape. |

All the lady wanted was some advice from people in the world of Fab. She wasn't after compliments, neither was she seeking people to boost her ego.
All she wanted was some advice weather she should leave or not. She clearly states 'in a later post' that she is going through some personal problems at the moment.

Looks like not everyone was in a good mood on feel good Thursday. 
To the OP, I have also taken breaks from Fab. I hide my profile, private my pics, and put all the filters on. Also, changing your password helps too. This place can be addictive so just taking a break helps us get our priorities straight. |

I too do exactly this, hide my profile and pics, filters up and change password so I forget it.
Means OP you don't have to start all over again with friends and verifications etc. plus you can return to posting in the forums without waiting a couple of weeks.
Whatever you decide, good luck and I hope your problems get smaller day by day. |

If there was a good reason to stay you would know it... rather than not knowing what to do.
It's not a life changing choice... it's just a free website that you can join again at any time.
If you don't know what you are doing here it's probably best not to be. That sort of confusion can only lead to a dark place. |

I think a lot of people sometimes go through a phase when they wonder whether they want to be on here, be part of the scene. And to be fair sometimes the time is not right. I would suggest to talk to a couple of your closer friends and if you still feel the same way, hide your profile for a while and see how that is. Then, when you feel different you might want to come back? Either way - all the best |

no offence.. but when blokes start "should i stay" threads, people arent as generous......
so i will say the same as i say to guys who start them....
no one is holding a gun to your head to stay.... and if you are not having fun and you don't have to be doing what you are... whats the reason for staying? |

I left for a bit left my profile on went throu a rough time in my personal life have come back and enjoying the chats on here. I needed the break to find what I wanted. Glad I'm back and hope to make some good friends who I can relate to and enjoy the banter.

I was just thinking about the gender thing and I can see where that idea is coming from. I do think that perhaps the way the OP phrased her statement may have something to do with the fact she had more sympathetic responses... she sounded like she was genuinely asking for help and support? |
