I'm looking to buy my partner her first Magic Wand and have seen a few on Lovehoney and Amazon but I'm not entirely sure which ones are the best. Can anyone, especially females, offer me some advice on this, please?

I have what's now called the "Lovehoney Classic" mains-powered wand.

We got it at one of the frequent times they put it as their Deal of the Day, and snagged it for £28 a few years ago.

It's a seriously good bit of kit, and ruthlessly efficient at delivering orgasms. The cord is generous, and you won't have to worry about recharging it. If you want a reliable wand in every sense, this is the one to go for.

Without wanting to rain on your parade, has she said she wants one? They're not for everyone. Otherwise the Lovehoney one is pretty good

Thanks for that, a mains powered one may be a good idea for how we'd be using it. Deal of the day on Lovehoney is also good shout

I've not heard of Doxy, so will take a look. Cheers!

It has been discussed, so won't be an unwanted or unexpected surprise when it arrives for her.

I have a love honey one (mains connected) and does the job.

I miss my Doxy 3 though, it was a lot smaller & lighter but didn’t lose any of the punch & power of the larger ones, I’d say it was better than the bigger ones. A replacement is on my wish list in time.

Go on Lovehoney and look in their forums (the link is in the advice section).

There's tons of advice and recommendations including those from sex toy testers such as us!

You can also read the product reviews to help make a decision.

We have the LH mains wand, a Doxy die cast rechargeable cordless, and older mains wand with a unicorn head from LH many moons ago and a cheap mains one we bought off ebay. The ebay one is the most powerful and most frequently used.

A box at end of your bed

My girlfriend and I picked up a rechargeable battery opparated wand off Amazon for £25 we where not expecting much from it but for the price we thought what the hell and it's fantastic powerful and quiet we used it a lot when we play as the mains wand from love honey is a little noisy, especially when my son is in the bedroom next to mine.

the best way to get one is to clap your hands and say abracadabra and a wand will appear before your very eyes

Right? It's by far our most used toy, and we have a significant collection. It's a pretty piece to look at as well.

We all love different ones really... I dont like the ones that most people do so you can call me a weirdo..

its all depends how sensitive she is etc...some can be very powerful. Some not so powerful. Will have to experiment to find the edge one for her.

Good luck with the search though
