I do like a coat. I have a predilection for coats. I love the warming and 'inspirited' feel when wearing a coat on a effervescently chilly autumnal day. An overcoat, a raincoat, a parka, a woollen coat, a leather jacket or a duffel coat - a faithful covering that keeps my ever-so-warm-so humble little torso snug from the noonday shine until dusky twilight time.
Join me and pay homage to the coat. More so now with the autumnal days fast approaching and we covet a cosy coat.
This gentleman loves a coat.
Did I ever parley about the coat?
I have now. |

I have a lovely 3 in 1 coat, designed specifically for active wheelchairing. It's got extra room in the shoulders, reinforced wrist area with ability to tighten it so it doesn't get caught in the wheels. It's got pockets that are easy to open when seated and a property fitted hood that doesn't obstruct peripheral vision. It has an accompanying knee cover that DOESN'T look like it should belong to my Granny, from the same material as the outer part of the coat.
It was all jolly expensive but worth it |

I love coats but rarely buy or wear them... I have just bought a gorgeous, bright pink, little, flared, raincoat thing. It's lightweight so I won't cook if I put it on and it's cute as fuck. It makes me happy when I look at it |

Haven’t owned a coat for years, not since I moved down to England….. have just moved to Wales, so may end up getting one again, but not sure what sort until I have a better idea of what the winter weather will be like |

"Yes I do favour a nice coat, which is saying something for someone with next to zero interest in clothing or fashion."
•
Focus and channel all your interests towards a decent coat. You'll never look back. |

Not all that North of North London |
I've just come back from climbing Mount Toubkal in morrocco and the kit mandated a decent walking jacket. It might not look cool, but the £200 Rab hiking jacket is like a sleeping bag and I cannot wait for the winter because it is so toasty warm! |

I don't really like wearing coats, it's a sensory thing for me.
I do have a basic bitch Autumnal coat in the obligatory camel shade for walks in the wood.
I love women in coats. A good trench coat with the waist cinched in? Beautiful. I like men in woolen coats that are tailored and under they're wearing a nice shirt and snugly fitting pair of trousers.
I've never done the wear nothing under a coat bar impossibly strappy lingerie and strappy heels. It's one of my fantasies. You're very welcome for the TMI ex husband. |

I have a LOT of coats and jackets. I recently sent some to the charity shop, including a full length sheepskin.
I have recently bought a gorgeous leather jacket and of course I have my trusty Levi jacket, then there's the coat I won in a competition, the lovely pink one that I spotted as I walked past the shop and bought on a whim, the suede one that was brand new in a charity shop and the rest |

Oh I do like coats - they're almost as irresistible as shoes and bags. I have a nice collection.
I have a yearning for a swing coat with fur collar and matching muff (fnarr), but I'm trying to resist. |

Oh don't. It's awful. Pure humiliation. I feel so ashamed.
I guess it isn't too late to realise that particular fantasy. Maybe. I think anyone would laugh if I showed up like that! |

"
This is now a thing for me and I'm sorry if I'm lowering the tone of your delightfully erudite opening Nerolatte.
Did it have the desired effect? Was it a car straight to hotel/house thing? I might have to buy a trench coat now. |

"I may have a couple
Long grey wool
Short camel trench (and yes I have)
Leather
Denim
Puffer (hate it - feel like a weeble in it, but useful for dog walks)
Various blazers
Army style jacket
"
Takeaway the denim and puffer, add a trespass t75 a waxed barbour and a craghoppers lightweight rain jacket and I'm with that selection. |

Car straight to house. Was very sexy.
However - i did text the receiving person with details beforehand. Or so I thought. I received a reply back from my father telling me to have a good evening but to put some knickers on before I caught my death of cold |

When we visited Edinburgh in June this year, I spied the most delicious coat.
It was a Harris t. Kind of a riding jacket / overcoat mashup. Beautifully tailored, fitted waist…. Sadly I’m nowhere near an off the leg size.
One day I will visit a tailor & get one made to measure. It was stunning. Absolutely stunning. |

I love a coat too. I have a few.
My favourite is my knee length light blue fluffy Teddy coat. I also like my tan parka which is very autumnal. I have a pale yellow soft blazer style coat too which is very cute this time of year but requires a basic outfit. I'm currently living in my light blue Joules coat as it is always raining here.
Good coats everyone.

OMG I think we need to start a support group of coat addicts. I bought a full length in Fuschia Pink today... Got some bad news so needed cheering up...
My fav is a Jaeger coat bought in Charity Shop for a snip! It's a full length wool in a bitter chocolate brown. Looks great with black or navy but always in high heel boots! |

I wear a lot of black, white and grey for work. So I wear with a statement scarf like a Chanel one with bold pink print. The coat completes the look... Even tho it was from Matalan with 25% off so £30. Mix and match! Lol |
