Are just enough sometimes.
The hug from your child.
The I love you text before they go to school.
The perfect cup of coffee.
The cosy evenings on the sofa, alone yeah, but I get the fluffy blanket all to myself.
The knowing that the guy you are completely in love with is ok, he may not be in your life, but he's ok. That's enough.
I need to log off for tonight as I'm feeling far too nice this evening.

I like your soft side JAG, it's rather different from last night but lovely to read. The little things mean a lot don't they? Like finding a Halloween biscuit to go with your PSL. A little message in the day to say thinking of you or love you.
Stay on you soft mare. |

Careful now, that sort of post is guaranteed to give someone here the horn.
I had a great cup of coffee earlier, I just found it - I'd never finished it. . But I own a microwave . Yeah yeah, I know I know, but... |

I like to keep it hidden, just bring it out now and again.

There's nothing nicer than the giant grin on my 4 year olds face when I pick him up from school. He runs to me and jumps in my arms for a lovely snuggle
It almost makes up for the times he misses the toilet and I get stuck cleaning up puddles |

"If it’s the small things that make people happy, why do so many women on here want a massive penis inside them?
Do they??"
Sorry, I thought this was the say something controversial thread. |

"A baby falling asleep in your arms.
Walking through a pile of leaves and not coming out not covered in dog shit."
Ooh leaves! I like that.
I need to go borrow a baby now. |

My great-granddaughter would probably love that.
I'll let you know. |

Not so much when they are 14
Start of this thread felt a bit like one of those pin drop awkward silence moments

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe |
I wrote this a few years ago for someone who was special in my life at that time.
The smallest things, they mean so much
The way you put your hand in mine
When we are walking up the street
And let our fingers entwine
The smallest things, they mean so much
The way you snuggle up to me
When we are sitting on the sofa
While we are watching TV
The smallest things, they mean so much
The way you squeeze my hand
When we are driving in the car
It makes me feel real grand
The smallest things, they mean so much
The way you hug me tight
When we say "hi" or we say "bye"
Everything feels just right
The smallest things, they mean so much
They say much more than words
They tell me what you really feel
They tell me that you care

"When your kid looks up at you and just stares into your eyes without saying anything. Makes my heart feel like it could burst!"
Be asking for a happy meal next. Well this is what I used as a kid |

I remember laying with one of my boys trying to get him to sleep. Made out I was asleep and got a finger poked in my eye with him singing do you wanna build a snowman. Hurt like hell but made my heart melt x |

I’m
Happy right now simply because my feet are finaly in dry socks. That’s enough for me right now.
We want more, but I’m content with things right now. |

Are you back on brand yet?
All went a bit too mellow for my liking.
Still, flipping a pancake and having a successful landing, ace.
Flipping the next one and making a mess, but having zero witnesses, double ace. |
