Gibraltar & Manchester |
Gibraltar - my hometown.
Sell it??? Ok, how about...
Gorgeous Med climate with high 20's warm sunny weather most the year.
Most 'High St' faves like M&S, Morrisons, Greggs, Maccy D's etc...
However also a selection of unique shops too and out of this world restaurants, cafes and bars.
The currency is Sterling so no exchange rate issues.
The GHA is like the NHS but without waiting times.
Its the UK so we all speak English. Even road signs are British.
Taxes you ask??? Er... what are they??? Hehe Well there is no capital gains tax, inheritance tax, sales tax or VAT.

Oxford. Oldest museum in the world, oldest university in the English-speaking world, oldest Botanic Gardens in the world, oldest coffee shop in Britain, stunning parks, beautiful open space, incredible architecture, two of the best shops in the world, rivers, amazing pubs, ridiculously good music every night, the best bookshop in Britain, and if it's all getting too small you can be in London or Birmingham in an hour. |

"Oh and I forgot the City of London has roads that most people can't drive on get the train in, its vibrant, its 24/7 even at night it's lit up, it's the bees knees of cities " the city of london is 1 square mile. It’s bars close around 9 in week and not open at weekends. Next to that is the city of Westminster. Much more accessible and vibrant. This included with the other 32 london boroughs makes up the area of metropolitan london |

London & New Brighton |
Good question...Being from London i can say it has it all but by no means is it the best city, I'm a coach driver so been to most of the cities in the uk, Manchester is just a wannabe London, Glasgow is a top city and a good night out but its so cold up there, for me the best city in the uk is between Newcastle and Liverpool, both have alot in common, they are alot more friendly then southerners, my attitude did changed abit when i moved up north, not that i was not friendly before, i just held back on looking at people who talked to me with a suspicious mindset, & their banta is sharp, funny and on point... But Liverpool just by a nose gets the top spot for me. |

There are very few "nice" city centres.
Worst being the capital but there isn't much difference between them all.
They are just vile.
We escaped 18 years ago and would we would never go back.
If we had to choose 1 then Norwich always seemed like a nice place when we were there. |

You're not wrong about Bradford's curry. I've eaten curry all over the world, yep I've been all way round several times, but Bradford really is curry capital of the world let alone England. |

I’ve barely left Skokie Illinois in the last four years so I imagine a lot of cities have changed quite a bit since I visited. I think I need a UK tour. |

I’ve loved a lot of cities around the UK over the years.
Cardiff’s great. So’s Nottingham. And Newcastle. London has some charms. And Edinburgh is beautiful.
But Glasgow’s where I chose to live. So there. |

"Norwich , and we’ve got Alan Partridge "
I thought it was meant to be sold as well as suggested
Norwich is alright, although the fact there's twice as many streets for erm...street women... as there is for nightclubs would suggest it isn't great.... |

I worked for a travel agent. It's the IATA call signs. If you are in a plane....the distance between them all is not that far.
New York and Paris have the same with airports not right in the center. Not sure about Tokyo.
Sidenote: The London Borough of Hounslow is....um.....a London Borough.
Depends on a person's definition of London. I go by being in one of the 32 boroughs plus the City. Some people go by within the M25. Some people go by the national rail commuter services. Others go by the E, N, W, SW, NW, SE postcodes. |

Yes, agreed.
We quite like to ride in to the city and park up outside Taylors with a coffee and watch the world go by. |

Born in London but not lived there for 25 years and would not live there rent free. Dirty, over priced , over populated and crime ridden. Think I was have to say Edinburg as my fav city. Personally prefer small towns and villages |

Much as I’m a country girl at heart, I absolutely love Glasgow. We both do, actually. It’s friendly, vibrant, cosmopolitan yet down to earth, and full of very sexy people - what’s not to love?!
