I was talking to a female friend and she said she keeps score over how many blokes she has slept with and rates them out of 10. And obviously this is just a private list.
Do you keep score?
As I found this strange. But each to their own. |

Some will be better than others, it comes down to preference, connection, the tension you build prior to sexual intercourse and many other factors.

Yes, I keep a spreadsheet, rate everyone on ten different criteria, and add those up to give an overall score out of one hundred.

Not sure how accurate a score system would be unless you had a standard, step by step, indentical sex format 
But that could well be the case for someone who likes scoring people.
Bit like comparing apples to oranges.
I've not had many in my lifetime but, even in that small sample, no two partners have been remotely the same experience.
I suppose I would think as far as "would I see them again?'
But that'd be it  |

It's not something I would do or have any interest in doing. I tend to remember who I have fucked and what they were like. I've never felt the need to keep a list or rate anyone. The only thing I would need to know is if I wanted to meet them again and I don't need a list to know that. |

No but providing she keeps it to herself I don't see the issue
Surely making a note of them and how good she thought they were together is helpful as it means she could contact the good ones for another meet if of course they wanted to too, you wouldn't want to meet someone again that didn't do it for you would you? |

Wait - if someone said "I write in my diary about every one of my meets" nobody would think it odd...but the spreadsheet is a low hanging fruit for jokes! I once was chatting to a woman who kept one such spreadsheet, unfortunately lost during a hard drive fail. She was genuinely bereft to have lost her records, which was her memento.
Worth remembering also that some of us have autistic tendencies, OCD tendencies etc. Having sex with multiple people is a pretty extreme experience, and comprising a list is one way of processing it, putting some order to something that frankly is very chaotic. |

Always Excel, the pivot tables are easier to do than in Sheets |

I kept a list when I was younger -- no scoring, just names.
For a while it was about clocking up numbers (I think that's a guy thing), but then it became about remembering people as individuals, because I think that's kinda important. |

That'll be me then -- took several decades on this planet before my aspergers was formerly diagnosed, so it's more than just a tendency.
Never considered it as a method for organising my chaos though, but that does make a lot of sense.

I keep lists of everything - books I've read, races and times, work I've done to my house. So yes, I keep a list of men I've had sex with. I don't give them a score. I just make a note of where they're from. |

No. But one night down the pub My Girl asked me how many. I said not a lot. She said put a number on it. I honestly didn't think it was a lot. But then casting my mind back and I remembered this one and that one and the lost went on and on. The numbers really racked up fast and we were both shocked. Especially because within that time I'd been in an 8 year monogamous relationship/marriage. |
