I was chatting with a work mate this morning .. the conversation went like this

Him : I watched a really interesting programme on telly the other night about Selfridges !

Me : Selfridges ?

Him : Yeh .. u know the really posh hotel !

Me : oh .. u mean Claridges

Him : Yeh .. its 6 grand a night to stay there you know !

Me : Wow ! .. makes you wonder who can afford to pay that a night doesnt it !

Him : well apparently they've had the Royal Family stay there and the other week they had O2 stay !!

Me : O2 ??

Him : Yeh ! .. u know the rock band !

There is a hotel attached to Selfridges, called, wait for it, the Selfridge!

Not a bad hotel, however, definitely not as grand as Claridge's.

I went to Selfridges once, asked a member of staff where the fridges were & she redirected me to Currys.

Silly moo, they don't even sell Vindaloos
