Really just depends on
How much time I have for the person and what they mean to me
If it’s a random done but not much
If it’s someone a deeply care about all the time in the world for them |

Infinite patience for those who put some effort in... Zero patience for those who don't... Trying to be better though. |

As a professional babysitter of engineering professionals I have little choice but to have lip severing levels of patience. I cope with a lot of internal shaking of head and forehead palming. |

"My patience is fine but my tolerance is fairly low
Sounds like you contribute in someways OP to making him worse. Why don’t you try discussing with him instead of boiling your piss over it "
I spent a term trying to coach a kid to catch. He was awful, eventually getting frustrated and stopping trying. Turns out he needed glasses... Sometimes there are reasons |

I have news. He doesn't forget how to do it ...
I am a very patient person. It's a good thing because my parents have tested that to its absolute limit. What does make me want to stick pins in my eyes though is when my brothers and other relatives tell me "I don't know how you do it". I want to shoot "I wouldn't have to do so much if you lot shifted your lazy arses".
So... there's that |

I've just learned to switchover when it comes to stupid.
I make sure who ever is above me knows they've been shown on numerous occasions, so when they fuck up. I just look grin and shrug you were told, I don't get paid to babysit. |

I'm a teacher: I'm professionally obliged to be patient.
But, my God, it isn't always easy. I think a consequence is that I am less patient with adults, on the grounds that they have much less reason to be stupid, selfish, etc. |

Depends on the intention of the person. If someone is genuinely trying, I have all the patience in the world. That tends to come down more to your own understanding of communication and are you making yourself understood in a way they understand. It doesn't occur to most people that not everyone communicates or understands things in the same way they do.
If someone is an irredeemable twat then absolutely none. |

"I’m unflappable but I have to work with people that have low thresholds, some people just flap at the slightest problem. "
Those people really test my patience. I generally just remove them from my life though. |

He could have learning difficulties and your way of teaching could just be crap! So you could quite easily be the problem as you think that everyone learns in the same way? |

Infinite patience. I try to be nice, be kind, and help the other person. Some ask the same questions, week in week out. Have been for years. You gotta hand hold when needed. We all learn differently, and I have found that some do not learn at all, no matter how hard I try or reframe the knowledge and teaching.
And that's ok.(They're probably embarrassed asking the gazillionth time.)
I just smile, reassure them, and help them.
Doesn't need to be any more complicated than that, and why get stressed about it ? Their problem is my opportunity, and it puts food on my table for which I am grateful. |

I am over patient with people in real life, but that's a learned behaviour from working on the farm, blowing my top is not going to move a 1 ton heifer when she has a cob on
Online situations are pretty much the opposite, but I am a Chatty Cathy |

Same here..some days they really grind my gears..deep breath..then dig a bit deeper for the reserve patience..and smile.. |

I am a lot more patient now I've got older but at work I work with people living with dementia, sometimes late stages and can be very hard work but for some reason I have all the time in the world when it comes to my residents, now quite so much outside of work but lot better than I used to be x |

My friends generally regard me as being pretty patient and I like that. I think a lot is just being able to bite your tongue, or ignore the minor irritations of life, or at least realise you probably irritate people, too and a little bit of give and take goes both ways. |
