Heads up: if you are with OVO energy double check your account I was paying £207/ month but the actual usage has been ~50. Partly my fault for not checking sooner and I will get it back but it's still a bad miscalculation on their part I'm sure I'm not the only one. |

But doesn't it just go into your OVO rewards and get interest like all your overpayments, which you can request at any time the refund in your online account?
Haven't had any problems with them in like 11 years. |

We got moved to OVO from SSE without us wanting to. We have a credit of over £800 due to the increase in our DD in April by over 50%. We're going to see what's left by Jan/Feb and if we still have a big surplus, we'll ask for it back. We will be resisting/refusing any further increase in our DD in October because it's plainly not necessary. |
