Ginger is brilliant for settling grumbly tummy. Hopefully it's not the start of noro!! If you start being sick, stay at home well away from others as noro spreads so quickly it's horrid. Hope you feel better soon xxx |

Think I've got the flu!
Probably the girly ordinary kind rather than proper 'Man flu' - temps over 100, aching like I've done an all nighter with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and my throat feels like I've been munching on crushed glass!
Duvet day methinks!
Get well soon tiger! Haven't had a dodgy prawn curry at all? |

Look - can everybody please stop being ill. This is a very tight-knit forum community and as we're in such close contact, we're susceptible to the lurgee being passed on.
At such a fun, social time of year I know that I could well do without Tiger's icky tum or Obi's sweaty death flu.
In fact, I've been here too long already, I'm off. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Have you got sympathetic hyperemesis gravidarum?
Keep yourself hydrated and try eating little and often.
I had a Vietnamese GP, one of the best women I have ever met, but she would deal with all patients with tummy issues in the same way. She would say to starve for a day and only have clear liquids. Introduce plain boiled rice for the next two days and then add plain boiled chicken to the rice on the fourth day. If that stays down you can start adding other bland things the next day.
I don't know how that will work with your diet. Personally, I just take an Imodium and hope for the best.
Feel better soon, Kinky. |

Eating anything will be a challenge. Largely because there's no food in the house!
Lickety, the diet is on hold until after Christmas now. Not trying to lose during that time, just hold stable and not gain. |
