I was very attempt to ask my office manager out for a drink after seen her on dating app.
But I got shy as she has to face me every morning first thing in morning . I felt awkward
And I got scared it could hurt my position .

Had a fling with the receptionist in a previous job.
Both of us knew it wasn't serious, just sex.
We are both still friends now despite both moving on to different jobs.
No longer doing the sex thing though. It was great at the time and was just what we needed. |

I dated a coworker as a teenager, had an ex boyfriend get a job at the same workplace when I was in college and University and was fwb with a coworker in an extra job I took for a short while while saving for a new flat. I think I would be more reluctant however in a job I considered as a long term career. |

But I think it’s the same as most things, get the rules set out at the beginning, make sure you both know and understand what you want out of it. If it’s just horny sex, that’s what it is, nothing more.

In my heady days as a youth with hair and a waistline i worked for the government… i went to one annual appraisal where my boss had written under ‘ relationships with colleagues’ - 4 that I know about!!!!!! I did have flings but we always remained friends when it fizzled out - I don’t get this ‘ I love you!!’ And next day ‘ i never want to see you again!’ Not very grown up  |

In my past, I did with varying levels of success. One became a long term partner for a few years. After that, it was mostly a bad idea and caused a bit of awkwardness.
The worst being the guy who pretended he was single but was actually also fucking my boss, it turned out. Made life very awkward when she found out (because he told people, I should add)
Took years to repair the reputation after that because I was made out to be the guilty party there. 10/10 would not recommend  |

Many times and for the most part it was great fun. There was one which didn’t end too well but it was just a short period of awkwardness before things got back to normal. Better to do it and have zero what if regrets I think |

No need to be sorry but in my case it proved very a very useful tool. Being better qualified and more talented than my contempories wasn't cutting it I decided on a more direct promotion strategy and gave in to the overtures of a senior colleagu. Once I had climbed that greasy pole it was also very exciting to be on the receiving end of other's desires for advancement across my senior executive body. |

Once…she is the quiet one in the office so when she made a move with clear ‘don’t want anything more than sex’ I went with it….she insisted on no contact in the office, despite sitting 10ft apart
Worked well for ages, probably the best sex I’ve ever had.
