I do give second chances, everyone makes mistakes. But it comes down to circumstances too. I'm much less inclined to give strangers or people I don't particularly care about second chances, than someone I know well and have a special relationship with.
I am a woman with a lot of compassion... it makes it difficult sometimes to walk away from people even if they do something really hurtful, because I go through all kind of scenarios in my head and try and sympathise with them.
But luckily, I'm good at knowing when it's enough, and it's rare I'll let you walk over me more than once. Once I've made my mind up there's no going back and I try not to dwell on it too much. But I'd be lying if I said sometimes I didn't think about them and grieve the loss of our relationship.

Depends on what they have done in the first place.
If they're late turning up or forget something they had agreed to do then I might possibly give them a second chance.
If they breach my trust or use our friendship as currency with other people they can fuck right off. |

I was given one once by two people I was giving a second chance. We remain cordial but the schism was too deep to heal.
I have given many second chances but trying to change that now. It hasn't been good for me.
I hope I can still recognise when a mistake was genuine and forgiveness is warranted.

Yes I do. People are human. Flawed. Do silly things. Have a lot going on. Drink too much. Think with their vag/willy.
I'd hope others would allow me space to make the odd mistake (which I've done and can own) and in return I'll do the same for them. Obviously it's dependent on what but for the most part I do. |
