Eye patch, they were mostly used by pirates with perfect vision anyway, they’d keep it covered above deck and flip it up while going to the darker areas below so they could see better

Eye patch. It’s fuck all to do with losing an eye. It just preserves your “night vision” when you have to go back below deck where it’s dark.

Learned that when I went to the Royal Navy museum in Portsmouth recently.

So yeah I’ll take the eye patch and not lose my leg

Eye patch, for the most part pirates wore an eye patch to train on of their eyes for daylight and the other for night time, rather go through that instead of loosing a leg

Eye patch. Talk to someone eye patch left eye. When they not paying attention switch to right eye. Repeat. Watch their mental state shrivel like a landlubber on a sunny deck. Take their boat.

Eye patch definitely. Nothing says pirate (or general bad man) like an eye patch. But having a gammy walk doesn't necessarily say pirate and may be just misconstrued for being pissed.
