Saw Bon Jovi, billy Idol, Manics, & Little Angels at Milton Keynes which was pretty good.
But I far preferred Little Angels in Wolverhampton- it was smaller & a much better vibe.
Most of my favourite rock concerts have been pub bands in some proper “dodgy” rocker/biker pubs. Never once felt unsafe. |

Iron Maiden Leicester De Montfort hall on the "Somewhere in time" tour. I went on the spur of the moment and only knew one of their songs. Unbelievable!! One of the best I've been to. Wasn't a fan before but was afterwards and that was about 30 years ago !! Their music and talent still sends shivers down my spine (yes, at my age!) |

Alanis morisette at ovo this year she pure belted the songs out great night.
Similar to others most of my rock gigs have been smaller pub/specialist club gigs bands/acts that didn’t make it big with the exception of manics who I saw early in their career |

I've seen dozens of gigs but a few recent ones that stand out are Nightwish at the Heinekin Arena in Amsterdam 2015, Fantastic show, great pyrotechnics and Dragonforce at Manchester Academy in 2017, and UDO at the Academy in 2018, two hours of solid rock and metal |

I've never been to a concert I've just been to gigs..I generally hate big venue's . I'd never go to one of those stadium type gigs where the band is about a mile away.. biggest places I've been to would have been Hammersmith and brixton.and that would have been a rare occasion.. |

Suicidal Tendencies in Manchester in 88 was a jaw dropper. Bob Dylan 1996, Patti Smith 2007 and Roger Waters 2008 all in Liverpool were great. |

Sounds like the same one! There was also an African dance troupe first on, about 6pm, and the MC was Nicky Campbell.
It was the Stones' "Urban Jungle" tour. Does that ring a bell? |

That’s just being picky concert , gig makes no difference it’s the atmosphere as well as the size of the venue , seems like you’re cutting your nose off to spite your face . I’ve been to hundreds of concerts gigs whatever from pubs to festivals mostly great some awesome some not so good . I love the experience of being at a live music whatever you want to call it. |

I was (and still am) a rock chick
I have been lucky enough to see the following bands live: Kiss, Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Nickelback, Def Leppard, Theory of a Deadman, Buckcherry, Charm City Devils, Godsmack, Drowning Pool and a few more who escape my (ageing) memory lol.
But my all time favourite has to be: Aerosmith - Hyde Park Calling 2007
Very closely followed by Motley Crue - Crue Fest 2 Kansas City 2009.

Saw john coghlan with his own band a while back ,he just retired, l like the early stuff and some of it after 86 ,despite the knockers they did put on a great loud n heavy show ,first band to do 4 concerts in a day ,think genesis topped it soon after.saw lots of bands ,Ronnie James was brill ,skunkworks and Maiden, Saxon the loudest, they burst my eardrum, motorhead had the hardest attitude, drummer put lemmys guitar through the mikestand. |

The Gaslight Anthem at Glastonbury in 2009
I'll be honest as the GA aren't my fave band by a long way but my dad mixed the sound for that set and Bruce Springsteen popped up in a very special guest star appearance with them and he is my mum's all time fave musician.
So I was able to get my mum a pic of my dad mixing the sound for The Boss |

Pink Floyd - Wembley Arena on the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour. (Not seen anything like it before - That stage show)
Big Country - Bradford St George's Hall (The Chance chant brought them back early to restart the song on the encore)
