For all you Blondie fans:
Blondie have confirmed a very special tour of the nation's woodlands next summer performing their hits as part of the Forestry Commission's annual concert series Forest Live.
Special guest each evening will be The Lightning Seeds performing an acoustic set.
Cannock Chase here I come!!
For those of you not in the know the Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income from the concerts is spent on improving the woodland for both people and wildlife.
ForestLive concerts take place each summer in seven forest locations around the country. Woodland clearings are temporarily transformed into a concert arena creating a safe and relaxed atmosphere for gig-goers.

The Lodge is taking a group of customers to Westonbirt Arboretum on 21st June 2013. They are having a picnic in the afternoon then watching Blondie in the evening. The invite is open to everyone so if you fancy being a swinging rocker on tour with the Lodge bung them a message and come and join the fun |
