I've never complained til now, couldn't give a toss if anybody read the post, just wanted to get it down and I dont need anyone to tell me how attractive I am or am not. Have enough people to tell me how lovely I am as a person.

These are the "good guys" who when someone posts a grievance over what they've experienced on here, just shrug their shoulders, tell them to stop whining and complain about how it affects them and their chances of getting a shag?
Then highlight what they perceive as the crawling sycophancy of others who may respond in a positive manner to the poster, in an obvious attempt to simply get in their knickers/underkegs.
How startlingly astute, selfless and generous! Good to know how people's actions are judged by the "good guys" of the site!
Equally, it's good to know the forum is in such safe, respectful and even-tempered hands!
Seriously, you think people should not make an issue out of this abuse because it affects your chances of a shag?
No doubt as a wizened forum elder, you have read all these posts before, so I guess it is boring. But perhaps it isn't for those receiving the message.
Their moan about the treatment they receive is equally valid as your complaint about their posts - many would feel their point is a far more understandable and less selfish one than yours.
No doubt your popularity in the forum will mean this post is ignored and ridiculed, ironically with the self-same sycophancy that your good buddies on here have displayed their disdain for in others who post.

I agree no one has to read them but I also remember a time when certain type of threads were removed on admin instructions because they were appearing daily and to no avail as the target audience unlikely to read them
there is always 2/3 sides and we have witnessed when the other party posts on a thread slagging him off, the original story can change.

I have met some fantastic single men, I get on with a lot of others too, that I have yet to meet.
My thread was merely to state the hypocrites that hide behind a blank profile and start to name call when you dont drop your knickers from 1 message. Oh your sexy, gorgeous and then turns to you fat ugly bitch, when they dont get what they want.
Then this thread appears, threatening to disappear, that no one should complain, I do apologise if I sounded a bit harsh, but I'm merely pointing out what Invictus had threatened (to disappear).
I should've read the forums and see what similar threads had been posted, that was my mistake, I simply added to the complaints. Apologies all round.

you might find that this site may not have the same improvements done so quickly without the revenue lost if singles of both sexes disappear...

One of the great things about this site is that you are allowed to start threads in the Lounge Forum about just about anything that is legal or inoffensive....
If we are going to have independent members attemptimg to control what can and can't be discussed on a thread it's going to start to resemble a dictatorship.
So if a thread doesn't interest someone, or is on a subject that is likely to upset a member then surely it's easy enough to ignore that thread?
I don't personally care for threads that bash single men but I don't let it get to me. |
