The new polymer notes are fine, it’s just the old paper ones that are being discontinued.

The bank of England man on the news this morning, said that a awful lot were washed and ended up non recoverable as well

I'm banked some £50 and £20's last week. A customer wanting to use them.

Strange thing is that banks will always accept them so I don't see an issue.
