We are all pretty wise to the ways of fab and the forums.
Those who come on to joke, to banter, to flirt and to have fun and those who stir the pot, light the touch paper, drop a bomb thread and then mysteriously disappear to lurk and enjoy the bickering or upset from the shadows....
Can we focus on the fun side, stop with the body critiques, not feed the negativity, not ignore the elephant stomping over our fab fun by joking or pandering....
Surely we've exhausted the body parts for a while so let's just vote with our comments...or lack of.... and ignore the narky threads maybe. I certainly will as they're a total downer.
What's your Sunday plans? Big Sunday dinner and dessert? Family time?
My kids are currently making dessert  could go either way  |

Could not agree more. I have had people judge me on here when they know nothing about me. Vast majority are lovely people and all should be respected. . It’s also a lot more fun when all are nice. Have fun |

I only use the lounge generally. I've just checked up n down the list. I can't see any hateful titles. Do you mean the posts in the threads ? |

Yes some don’t seem to think about impact on others. You can have variety and love that here but no need to be rude and especially not hurt people |

Trouble is , no one can see the content until they are in there.
Also some don't read the whole thread and overlook a rude comment completely and the thread grows.
I don't see anything totally vile as a rule. The lounge is a lot more considerate than it used to be. |

You’ve done it in a very nice way, but still, this is you telling people to behave according to your instructions or leave.
The threads that make me want to pull up a chair and reach for the popcorn or chuck a can of petrol on the fire brighten my day so I’ll carry on doing it may way and stay thank you. |

The grandkids have been noisy as hell most of the day, the dogs got a bit of a gippy tummy (had to mop the kitchen floor twice). And we're having pasta bake for dinner |

Hard to ignore trolls though. One hand feeding them gives them attention on the other hand ignoring them and not pulling them up on their behaviour makes them think they can get away with it. |

This is me too. I won't let someone get away with saying vile stuff even if they won't acknowledge it. I just log off if I have had enough of trolls though. |

Well the forums should be for everyone to post as they wish, how they wish as long as it is within the site rules.
I’m not having a go at the OP, and my apols if it seems like I am, but to me this is a very “2022” thread : ie let’s not have anything that I (the reader .. rather than the OP!) don’t approve of on here.
There’s loads of threads I don’t like on the forums, some make my eyes roll, some make me think WTF and some I think are in bad taste (and that’s just the ones I start!) but I just avoid and ignore the ones I don’t like.
So go ahead people of Fab, start your threads, throw your bombs, do your thing, but do it respectfully and within the rules!  |
