I’ve been looking into booking a solo adventure trip. Does anyone have any top tips/recommendations of good tours to do?

I guess it would be too much to hope for some fellow fab singletons looking for some company….?

I've looked at the solo trips and honestly couldn't think of worst social torture.

Instead I tend to head to cities abroad on my own, rent a nice apartment and splurge for luxury. But I like my own company. Its scary traveling abroad myself buy I research the hell out of it.

Quite like the canary islands for that, touristy but still fun to explore. Heading to gran canaria In a month or so then to lanzarote in Feb.

I actually did a week in Tenerife on my own a few years ago. Enjoyed the daytime stuff, but asking for a table for one is a little bleak…

I travelled across Italy solo, made good friends and got a leg infection. Loved it. My tip, take mosquito repellent and lemongrass shower gel.

Depends where you want you go? I did a solo trip to Greece this year and loved it. I did my research of the local area before I went with regards to hotel location and restaurants nearby, things to do etc and booked my excursions before I went. I did a package deal as I’m not sure on how to do it all separately and wanted the peace of mind it was all being organised for me and transfers etc was all sorted.

I assume it’s easier to get talking to strangers round a pool when you look good in a bikini right?

I travelled on my own to Toledo (Spain) in July, but it was to join a language course. The whole group got on really well, we're from all around the world and still chatting on a WhatsApp group.

I've travelled a fair bit for business so gotten used to asking for a table for one.

I do admit seeing other couples on holiday does get a bit depressing though.

A friend booked a wild swimming trip where people from other countries all met up to go as a group. There must be similar for adventure treks.

I find it depressing when they're sat on their phones not speaking to each other. Much more fun alone and people watching.
