I remember when the comic came out and it did not appeal to me. Fast forward over ten years and last month I caught the end of one of the programmes and I liked it. So, I bought the series and the first episode opened with two songs I love, Ain't no rest for the wicked by Cage The Elephant and Fame by David Bowie. The series so far has been a blast. The hero Tom Ellis playing Lucifer channelling his inner Kenneth Williams.
What TV series slipped by your radar and that you caught up with later? |

Game of Thrones for me. I watched the first 2 episodes when first released and didnt like it at all.
Then in 2017 someone said I should watch it. They told me if I could get past the first few episodes I would enjoy it. It took about 5 episodes before I did but then I was hooked.
Watched them all and read the books. Still waiting on the final book though |

Coincidentally Lucifer did for me as well, I’d tried watching it before but gave up a couple of episodes in, I started again recently after being told to look it from a different angle and got hooked on it, season 6 at the moment so no spoilers |

It is a really good series. I watched a few seasons and then it dropped off my radar. I think because it moved to Netflix. I need to get back into it.
Believe it or not, Better Call Saul went unnoticed by me for a long time. Started watching it and now I'm hooked!!

The comic of Alias was another comic that I did not fancy, so I shall add the TV series to my Xmas list.

Game of thrones....my lady loved it and brought me up to speed when we started watching it together , both of us disappointed with ending!!
And as for Lucifer... I keep expecting Miranda to pop up in a scene with maracas |

The series that slipped by my radar was The Sopranos. I didn't watch the first episode, foolishly thinking it a feature on high-pitched singers. I was lucky to catch the second episode, so was soon able to immerse myself in the world of Tony and co.
Thank you: the Kenneth Williams observation will now forever make my viewing of the Vertigo-inspired TV series all the more enjoyable. |

Love Lucifer, it was a great show.
For us, it was Killing Eve. We saw clips on Gogglebox and thought we really should watch it |
