"Is it more fun to have a theme for a party, or just come as your are? "
dressed like a gorilla with a traffic cone on my head is brilliant fun, so I guess I'll just come as I am |

You might get more people passing on the invite if its themed party even though personally I think they are great fun. If doing one give pleanty of notice so people can prepare and get their outfits sorted. Come as you are is always easier as not everyone is into dressing up. |

"what would be a good theme to have?"
Nothing too complicated or difficult/expensive for guests to prepare for. If you're thinking about a mucic themed one, go for a decade like 70s, 60s/rock n roll maybe? Just don't let anyone dressed as Elvis in, lol! (kidding). It depends on your pesonal 'era'/preferneces. |

I dread fancy dress parties, and feel more at ease at "come as you are" kind of parties.
Whatever the theme or no theme, one ingredient is a must, and that is food.
Must have food at parties! |
