Well everyone seems to be a Geo-Political expert on FabSwingers don’t they, so why not stick with a Fuck site?
Other than that, I think they’re all as biased and agenda driven as each other but will watch the thread with interest |

Online I'd recommend dw.com. It's a German news outlet but in English. Very good coverage of Russia/Ukraine. Otherwise I do think the BBC website and Radio 4 have covered it well. |

Just another case of history repeating itself and the very same people all encouraging us to hate Russia/Putin are mostly the very same people who queued up to meet him ??? and sadly what happens when the very few have to much say/influence on Governments/Leaders |

"Try duck duck go. Its not censored
I don't want to download a search engine.
You don't download it. You just search it.
It IS censored but it doesn't track "
First site it gives is Al Jazeera. |

"I want to read about what's going on in Russia, so which media outlet should I look on?"
I honestly have no idea. For the life of me, i just dont trust any of the MSM as it all appears to be so one sided, something which always disturbs me.
Irritatingly as well, russian state owned or state controlled media sites like RT and Sputnik were all removed from access in this part of the world once the invasion began. Im amazed at the lack of outrage over that to be honest. Its blatant censorship. I have no doubt there is a lot of propaganda on them, but thats for us to decide whether we want to consume or not. |

This is a good bet. There are protests in Russia because of Herr Putin's decision to mobilise reserve troops. The reserves don't want to be called up, presumably, and I am speculating that it could be the precursor to general conscription. Apparently, the number of people leaving Russia on flights to neighbouring countries has increased a lot since and the cost of flights has increased substantially. |

I read that Putin has threatened to nuke the West.
I don't even know what to think about that. |

He's implied that he wouldn't rule it out, more than once. I don't think he's overtly threatened quite in so many words though.
I'm going to file it under "things I have no control over" and hope for a swift end if it does happen. We no longer have a bathtub to shelter in. |

It’s probably a bluff. But if he did it would be tactical not strategic which means localised. It barely matters which it could be. |

I'm Googling how to survive a nuclear attack. Actually, I probably don't want to do that. |

I wouldn't bother. Not a lot you can do, unless you have a really good underground bunker. The disaster planners who've been stockpiling tinned beans in their cellars might finally get a chance to shine though. |

I’ve decided to stop following the news on the Ukraine war. Last time when it all kicked off I suffered with anxiety and stress and couldn’t eat or sleep. This time I’m afraid it will have to be blissful ignorance for as long as possible. |

I'm thinking I should have stayed ignorant. I catch bits of it that pop up as something I might be interested in.
I think we should be aware of things like this though. |
