With the trailer out for the new Hellraiser movie that is coming out in a couple of weeks, who is looking forward to watching it?
I'm definitely looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see how this one does. Hopefully it will be better than the straight to video sequels that were released in the past years. |

"I think all in all there's something like 11 sequels, but I've only seen the first three
11?
Didnt think they made that many.
"
I just checked. There're 10 films including the original. Aside from the first three films, I haven't heard anything good about them |

Wasn't one of them set in space or something? Or did I just imagine that?
I didn't know they had made a new one have to have a look for the trailer. |

I'm not sure, it's very likely there was though. I think in one of them there a computer game that's got Pinhead in it... naturally, all kinds of hell get raised |

Even though it's not available in the UK yet, I've seen and heard good things about this new Hellraiser. The cenobites look really good especially Pinhead who was brilliantly played by trans actress Jamie Clayton.
I'll definitely give this a watch when it is available here in the UK. |

I've seen it and it's two hours of my life I won't get back...it was absolutely dire. No tension, no build up to terror, poorly acted, and it isnt a reboot, a sequel or anything!! |

Wouldn't it be nice to see something original instead of a remake, reboot or sequel?
There are thousands of creative types out there with ideas and it's a shame not to try something fresh. |

There was potential to do something spectacular with it. But like nearly all attempts to dredge up old movie stories….it’s butchered, sanitised to satisfy the box tickers, and wrapped up in glossy cgi filled nonsense. |

We stopped bothering with most new movies as they tend to be poorly written and piggy back on well established brands. Not really missed anything, to be honest. Did enjoy Jurassic World and the Lego Movies strangely enough. |

Saw this last night and I thought it was ok. Nothing special but worth a watch on a streaming service. The Cenobites didn’t particularly scare me or look as disgusting as the original film. The story was new but it lacked any real tension.
Just another film in the franchise that hasn’t improved it. |
