impolite to block?

We seem to be getting some people interested and we have some lovely friends on our list we hope to meet, but a fair number of single fems are simply window shopping ( maybe they have such a wide choice ..they can..) even after telling us they'd like to meet at some point, follow up emails to make arrangements are being deleted.

So we are starting to use the block option....justified? or not?...thoughts please x

Justified so you don't get troubled by them again. We get messaged time & time again by the same guys so now block them to save our time x

The block function is there to be used....use it as you choose to.

If you feel it's justified then it probably is. Some people are more liberal in their use if the block button than others

I personally dont like to block anybody really - and I only block when I have a really good reason so consequently I dont have a long block list.

But I do empathise with getting a bit overwhelmed and I d say if you feel it is the right thing to do.. then do so.

We like the block button for those who can't read or are rude

It's not impolite to block. It's not impolite to ignore or delete messages. It's a website, not a chat in a pub.

Some people get too touchy about the whole thing but that's their problem.

If I am understanding your post correctly. You are suggesting blocking them because they haven't replied to your mail and deleted it ? If this suits you then do it. However, I'm not sure what this will achieve, if they don't want to contact you anyway !

Don't care, won't care, I block at will if I have no intention of knowing the person.

its the leading up the garden path that is annoying...blocking won't achieve anything but prevent further contact from that person(s)...I think we just wanted to see what others thought...thanks to everyone x

I block people who, from their profile, I am clearly not what they are looking for.Saves me time accidentally reading their profile again in the future.

I block wayyy too many. If i decline and they email again (a new hi message) then i delete and block.

If Im really not interested I block. If they are attached I block. If they are over aggressive in messages I block.

I used to feel guilty, not anymore, it's just another feature of the site

If it says it's a single bi fem and it looks like a single bi fem and reads like a single bi fem - chances are it's a single bloke .......
