...unfortunately I shared a room with my sister so one wall was covered in 'cute' kittens in baskets and hammocks  |

Adam and the Ants, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Ultravox, Japan, Soft Cell, Police (before Sting turned into a pretentious twat), U2 (ditto Bono), Madness, Specials and a huge James Dean poster on the ceiling above my bed
Anyone remember those fan mags you could buy that opened out into huge posters??? Had Adam Ant as Prince Charming, and a Duran Duran one with all my smaller Smash Hits posters around them...happy days |

I never thought id actually fuck the people i had posters of, i admired the women, enjoyed their music, went to concerts, talked to my friends about their latest track, so never thought of them as "unobtainable"....at 13 -15 the only bar i was interested in was my local pubs one and how fabulous it must be to be able to go in and have a drink and socialise.....  |
