Mundane one of the highest degree!
Was parked up in Tesco. Came back to my car and someone parked the exact same type of car next to me. White Nissan with a licence plate which had a one letter difference
Part of me hopes they knew what they were doing. |

"Sexual or general weirdness?
"
Ok, I’ll go with general weirdness for the time being.
As a kiddie I fell down some stairs. Except I didn’t, I kind of glided / slid down them from top to bottom and landed safely at the bottom on my two feet.
Now anyone who believed in such things might say I had a Guardian Angel protect me that day and “carry me down” those stairs.
But as a sceptic in such things and can only surmise that I just got lucky somehow - by rights I should have broken my leg or worse! |

Vividly, I must have been about 6 or 7 at the time. I tripped, lost control but stayed upright the whole way down, but didn’t “stand” on any steps, just “slid” down them all, it’s difficult to explain.
Never happened before or since.
It does kind of send a shiver when I think about it. Defied the laws of physics, but I didn’t feel or see anything physically help me.
I guess I was just perfectly balanced all the way down and got lucky - a one in a million chance! |

I bought a new car lately and saw the same model and exact metallic pastel colour, I'd only only just bought mine.
We went into the charity shop and giggled as my car's twin's owner and passenger spent a few moinutes doing a double take and having a good nose at my car's interior.
That was quite a giggle as my car is quite rare, in this colour too.
I did it with my last one on more that one occasion.
So yes they knew.
Skoda: look again. |

General - The button on the light switch in the spare room that's not being used broke so there was no way to switch the light on for months. Lying in bed with my eyes closed one night, I opened my eyes and could see light under my bedroom door. Wondering if I'd left a light on downstairs, but knowing I hadn't (was worried a burgler had accidently switched it on tbh), I opened the door and it was the spare room light, on, by itself in the middle of the night. It flickered a bit when I walked in the room but stayed on. I had no way to turn it off. I had to put a towel over my hand and unscrew the bulb. |

My husband has a bunch of these things, like when he walked through a door to a building on the left rather than the correct one on the right and ended up being given a job out of the blue - and staying at it for over 7 years.
And how he can't remember how or why, but he ended up staying the night on a floating hippie commune off of Canary Wharf. And he isn't even from London.
Or - again for reasons he can't remember - he found himself in a car with three Hexagenarian transvestites, belting along the M6 at 2 in the morning as they headbanged to Rocking All Over The World by Status Quo. |

Driving down the motorway talking to passenger suddenly had the urge to swap to another lane (no reason to really). Seconds later, cars in front started swerving around a huge lorry tyre which had been in the lane I just left. |

Years ago when I lived on my own, I woke in the night with a sense that someone was in my room. I was literally frozen to the spot, I daren't move. I must have drifted back off to sleep in my pretending to be asleep state. When I woke in the morning, I noticed an indentation in the duvet, at the bottom of the bed, like someone had been sitting there

About 20 years ago, as I was walking to the front off a bus to get off in Leeds, I noticed something under one of the seats. I stopped to look and saw what I assumed was a plastic scorpion, about the length of my hand. I looked closer and it's tail fucking twitched! I had to rush to get a National Express, so hurried away, telling the driver on my way passed. I could tell he didn't believe me, I'd love to have seen his face when he actually saw it |

A few years ago, I had a car accident, car coming towards me overtaking a lorry on a corner, I swerved to miss them and hit a stone bollard which spun me around facing centre of road, the car and lorry didn't stop, other cars both ways did, except for one driver about 5 cars behind us, he came towards us between Hedge and other cars that had stopped, and t boned us, we walked away with no injuries, I think our angel's that day was my brother and SIL that had been killed in a car accident 6 months earlier, my car was a right off |

When I was at secondary school we had a school trip to Germany. None of us had been there before to Trier and Saabrucken. We went on a visit to a vineyard and I said ‘there’s a stone building down there’ (which we couldn’t see from the coach) and then someone said ‘we’ve been here before’ and a couple of fellow pupils also said about things that were out of sight. As we got over the top of the slope, there were the buildings and things exactly as described. Some girls started crying and several of us got an intense feeling of deja vue. Very strange experience. |

Or
Probably seen a documentary or read books prior to the "school trip" as they generally have stuff that's been studied, being a trip to Germany I am guessing history? |

I was parked in a supermarket. Had been having a bad day. Came out and went to my wee car, so I thought. Tried to open it with the fob. It didn’t work. Then I noticed a big fresh seagull shit on it and a scratch. Got a tissue out my bag and cleaned off the bird shit. Got another to see if the scratch was surface or deep. Was just about to call my mate to take me home so I could get the spare key, when I noticed 2 cars along was MY wee car. It’s an unusual wee car and I’ve never saw another like mine in the area. |

I was out walking with my kids a few years back and thought I'd got a horesfly bite on each of my elbows as they started to swell up a bit and go red . Went home had a nap and 11 days later woke up in hospital . Was weird waking up in a strange environment and being told 11 days had past . Bit of septicaemia |

No. We had not seen anything prior to going. It was indeed an inverted commas school trip. It wasn’t for study or history just a cultural trip. |

"I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to..quite often an obscure song or tune pops into my head, switch the radio on and it's the next one played. " the more you listen to your inner voice the more often you’ll find coincidence and luck happening.

A long time ago, I was in a lecture theatre when my digital watch started playing one of those awful tunes. I couldn't get it to stop, so with everyone watching I took some pliers out of my bag and whacked the thing to shut it up.
It stopped.
Later, in the early hours of the morning, I'm in bed when the watch starts playing the tune, and mid way through it just dies with a croaking noise.
Final death throes of a Casio... |

It's just chance and coincidence.
I read a book called As Luck Would Have It, which explains how we don't really understand random events.
As rational beings we want to ascribe a logic to these sort of events.

Plus, it's a biased perspective, based on selective recall, without reference to the rest of life, where we've experiences that don't match, etc. |
