For the people/couples who choose not to show when you've viewed profiles, what is/was the reason... no reason other than I'm curious. I'll have images or videos fabbed but more often than not they don't show on who's viewed. What's the benefit of remaining... in the shadows? |

You don't get stupid messages saying things like "don't be shy" or "I hope you liked what you saw"... If I haven't messaged, I was just seeing if I wanted to and I didn't... Not sure how you can mistake a look as definite interest but many do... So ninja mode it is |

If someone makes me laugh, or think, on the forum, I’ll often check them out as it broadens the picture for that profile. It doesn’t mean I want to meet, fancy their profile pic, or want anything more than to see a bit more about the person. I flip between ninja and normal. I have a frequent profile visitor who I fancy the look of for whom I’m a year out of their age range, and I can’t message. I make sure I’m visible for them when I visit their profile each time they visit mine, on the off chance they get the message. |

I've not read the replies, though I imagine this to have already been mentioned ......
Because, we want to avoid the extra incoming messages, before we hid we would receive many messages from profiles we've peeped at stating they've seen we have looked, then asking if we've seen anything we like.

This exactly. If we looked at ten profiles we would probably get five or six messages back saying similar things. Just saves the hassle.
On a side note in the 12 years on here we have never had a nasty or rude response to a 'no thank you ' reply. Most fellas if they acknowledge it just say thanks for letting me know.
It's a shame a few spoil it for the many. |

I have been known to leave people we have added as friends on the hotlist so it shows up on the updates when they have been checking us out
We use ninja mode because like others have already said we got lots of messages about us liking what we saw.....
If I did like it, I would have dropped you a fab or a wink at the very least mate
