Where is the line?
Is it just politicians or all public figures?
Is it the sexualising that's the problem or the manner in which it is done?
I'm not brave enough to try and stop some formites drooling over Tom Hardy holding a puppy tbh |

It's the fact that these threads never came up when we had a male PM. And most people admit they don't find her attractive so that's not even the reason for it, yet they speculate whether she's kinky, what size her boobs are etc. It's purely because she's a she.
Showbiz celebs are a bit different because their careers are mostly based on the fact they're hyper-attractive and would elicit these sorts of responses in people (ie sex sells) |

Personally I think it all depends on why someone is in the public eye to begin with.
If they're trading on their looks or the physical in any way then they are opening the door to public scrutiny.
Doesn't mean folk can come in on them and trash them, respect is always due whether you rate them or not.
But if they're not there for 'lookatme' clicks it's disrespectful to them to reduce them to the physical only.
But also, you can be a drooler without being an ass about it.
Compliments are always great, no need to get neck deep in the squatbucket of filth that some throw out as misogyny/misandry disguised as sex talk  |
