It really depends on the reason for the message. If it's a reply to advice or a comment we've made on the forum then no, it's not necessary.
If it's for anything else, yes, we'd very much appreciate a recent face pic. No cocks or actions shots either. If we want those we'll ask for them. |

Always a few face and regular clothed pics as I don’t have any on my public profile.
I don’t get someone wanting to strike conversation without face pics unless there’s a genuine reason as to not sharing to begin with |

Depends really, if we're talking shit on the forums and go to DM's not so much.
Doing the old cold call first message, yeah, just helps them get to the quick of it. Saves time from both our ends. |

I don’t respond to faceless profiles so if you do want a response and are genuinely interested in me I’m sure you’ll send a face pic. If I’m not interested I may say no thanks or just delete. That way I’m not wasting your time. If I’m interested I always send a face pic back  |

No I never send a pic in a first message. I will only exchange face pics after I have chatted for a while and I also don't expect anyone to send me a face pic in a first message either. |

First of all the only picture you should send first is a non explicit face picture. I think we all ideally would like to see the face of the person who's talking to us.
Secondly with regards to sending face pictures that also very much depends if your happy sending a face picture to a stranger.
I would say if your happy with both conditions above then yes. |

I don't expect or send a face pic on first message. I like to find out a bit about the person first through chatting. If I think a meet might be on the cards then I might ask for a face pic. But I'm reluctant to chat with black silhouettes as a profile pic, that's really annoying.
Looks like there is a difference of opinion on here. That's fab. You can't please everybody all of the time. |

A lot of people ask specifically for a face pic with a first message. So I always comply with that. Otherwise, I just see how it goes and offer/ask if a person would like to swap pics (face pics that is) |
