Got a packard dot se netbook. Running slow and continually crashing (norton, skype click, shockwave flash)

It is only 15 months old... Do I get rid and replace or is there a stupidworks way of getting it working properly again, ie reset factory settings.

Might just require a msconfig to stop programmes launching automatically when you boot up

remove norton its a massive system hogger.

download Ccleaner and remove all the crap off the system.

use comodo firewall as its free.

Got ccleaner.. It runs on boot up.. If I reset to factory settings will It wipe my pics.... Got all backed up on usb stick.

yes it will erase everything page 49 of your manual shows how to do it

once erased download avast or avira or avg antivirus for free (see not biased)

tune up 1 click management gives a free trial. its also very easy to stop programs starting on bootup. it also corrects any errors and removed temp data files that clog your netbook up. also defiantly remove norton! a free firewall and antivirus previously mentioned will keep you safe

It would be best to reset it back to factory settings. Look on your documentation on how to do it. I doubt it needs replacing.
