Classic games are always great. I've got Day of The Tentacle and Full Throttle on my PS4.

I love my point and click games. Toonstruck is another good one as well.

Nothing quite makes you feel old like hearing people talking about the GameCube as being retro

Ahh my thread has arrived :P

I restore, repair and retrofit old consoles and PCs. I like going back to original hardware though will emulate where it's impossible or impractical.

Currently I'm sitting on a collection of I think 33 different platforms available (distinguished from 33 actual consoles due to duplicates and consoles which span multiple libraries such as GB/GBC/GBA)

Most recent retro game played - Fallout 1

Oldest working system in the collection - Intellivision by build date, Atari 2600 by release date

Most obscure system in the collection - Probably either the NEC PC-FX or the Amstrad GX4000

Same. Never even saw one in any shops until years later when a retro game shop opened in town.

Neo Geo was essentially console-ized SNK arcade hardware & the game cartridges were literal arcade PCBs in a plastic shell & cost £200 a pop back in the day.

On a hardware level the C64 spanks the Spectrum; of any variety

The legal battle over 25 years to even get it on Xbox, was hard enough. It was never coming to ps. Rare is part owned by Xbox and Nintendo thats why its been a fight since day 1.

Even though this port is not brilliant, its a miracle that it happened at all.

"V - with Goldeneye & The Settlers coming to gamepass , I'll be doing a spot of retro in the next few days.

It's not on playstation shame that I really like that game.

The legal battle over 25 years to even get it on Xbox, was hard enough. It was never coming to ps. Rare is part owned by Xbox and Nintendo thats why its been a fight since day 1.

Even though this port is not brilliant, its a miracle that it happened at all. "

Well its happened, your playing it or will be soon, and ill put the walkthrough on YouTube as that's how close ill come to playing it.

happy gaming

"Is anyone else playing old games?

I'm currently playing Syndicate and loving every second of it.

Next stop, Monkey Island

Love Monkey Island!!! Might have to revisit! Is it available on PS5? Sure I have played on PlayStation but might have been pS3?! "

I saw it on ps+ essential you can just stream it.

I've always got a game going on both OddWorld Abe's Oddysee and Exodus.

Sometimes I play some Xtreme G, 1080, and Goldeneye on my N64

Nearly always have a game going on Quake and Doom 1, 2 and 64

I used to be quite good at table tennis and tank pong on my BBC computer. Especially enjoyed night time tank pong where the screen was completely blank.

Nowadays I just play on my old Atari, got lots of cassettes but my favourite is still river raid

Won't be hard to track down a PS2 and the game. The real tricky part will be that period correct light guns won't work with anything other than a CRT display.

There are however projects to bring modern flat panel compatible light guns to the Mister project. I haven't checked up on them for a while
