On here no, on what’s app and messenger yes, I have them with people here going back 7 years right from first message. I make sure WhatsApp backups to the cloud daily too so when I change phones I never lose anything
It’s really nice to go back sometimes to what you both said when you first met. I
I notice some people turn in disappearing messages now |

Messages on here are a bit clunky and restrictive plus it's generally only the male half that looks in here anyways.
We quickly move to WhatsApp if mutual compatibility is high enough to warrant a conversation.
We keep the messages that are in triage and not the rest |

Yes I tend to. I like to revisit some conversations, and also if I’ve messaged someone before but didn’t get a response, it can be good to look at what I said!! |

I do like to read back through conversations too on WhatsApp and messenger and texts etc
On fab I delete my inbox but can read the conversation still in sent messages if I want to. Does fab delete them after so long anyway or just unread messages? |

"Mine auto deletes... I don't know if it's because I have the mobile version?? "
Messages on Fab auto-delete after a certain time unless you save them to your saved message folder.
Personally on Fab, I save certain messages with information like recommendations or from profiles of interest.
But I usually/often copy and paste any interaction had with fellow fabbers into the notes section - to remind me of who they are, what exchanges have been had etc. These are a godsend when you get the third FAF message from the same profile every 3 months, or when someone gets in touch who you've chatted with extensively but the chat went cold for some reason (particularly as I generally don't block unless a message is abusive). Yes, but mostly because it never occurs to me to delete them, though thinking about it, it feels as though deleting them on purpose would be like cancelling people out and I think would feel vindictive somehow |
