Hi just reposting as misspelt original title. Sorry!
This might be an unusual one but wondered if any ladies or gents wear or have worn those metal things for shoes that make a noise when you walk?
Do you or have you?
What does your partner think?
What comments do you get?
Why do you wear them?
If you dont wear them what do you think?

In which case I’ll repeat my reply here then!
Blakeys!!!
We used to get them as kiddies and put them in our shoes to cause sparks when riding our bikes!
They’re to prolong the life of your heels when used properly! |

Metal tips? I (Mrs) have them on the toes and heels of the shoes of my uniform. It has never occurred to me to ask himself what he thinks of them. I don't think he would even have noticed them particularly?
I don't get any comments on them bar being asked which shoe mender I use.
I wear them because firstly they prolong the life of my very expensive shoes, and secondly, because they sound better on the march and during drill |

Oh the heel protector things? I can't stand the sound of them to be honest, they can be obnoxiously loud and it grates on me a bit. Women's heels click-clacking I don't mind, but those metal things are just a touch too high pitched for my liking, especially if they scrape on stone or something

I wear fairly expensive shoes brogue or Oxford style and various designs and do find ladies comment and notice them . These days I don’t think many folk gents in particular don’t make the effort to dress nicely very often |

I love love love, hearing my heels as I walk about in work, I find it meditative. Suspect one of the men on the floor I work on thinks the same, always comments when I have heels that make a noise. |

I love the sound of heels tapping on the floor.
Nothing makes my heart pump faster than being knelt on the floor awaiting a Mistress then hearing the heels on the floor getting louder as she gets closer |

1/4 steel tips, wore them in Oxford pattern shoes for ceremonial duties and still do. As most of my quality shoes are handmade, it reduces the wear of the heal and prolongs the life of the shoes. |

Somebody said they prefer a derby shoe and he couldn't take it. |
