If you had the choice, where would you live? I’m a countryside person through and through but now and again I like a little venture to the city

Same here but if I have to pick one, I’d say rural.

I’m like you op. Just far into the wilderness to be able to disappear, but near enough to the city if I want to go let my hair down and go wild now and then.

Born and bred in a rural village, had some city living in my 20’s but now moved back to the country. You wouldn’t get me ever going back to city life ever again, short excursions are ok but nah, you can keep all the noise, dirt and grime tbf.

As much as I love the countryside I’d rather live in the city

I'm lucky to enjoy both close on my doorstep.

I'd not want to live more than 20mins from what I need access to or from emergency services

Grew up in rural Britain, eventually moved into a town, hated it, and am now back in rural bliss

Both are amazing. I just couldn’t do living inbetween. No suburbs for me thanks. Either the heart of the big city or properly, remotely, rural.

Somewhere near here

As middle of nowhere as possible. I live on a farm, have one neighbour and 1/2 mile walk to my village which has no shop. It’s heaven. I could never live in a city or town again

"If" we had the choice, surely we do?

Rural for me though, don't do crowds if I can help it.

East Lincs

Grew up in London lived there 45 years. Met a lady from Lincolnshire and moved up here. Best thing I ever did. Haven't been back since, do not miss the city in the slightest.
