But when you go to funeral or go pay your respects to someone lieing in state .wouldnt you put on suit or a smart outfit.I may sound old fashioned .but I do give my respect to those that went I just think formal clothing should be worn . |

I’d say with the length of queues it’s probably not always practical to go suited and booted - currently at 2.4 miles long.
Also the Queen loved colour so I’d like to think she’s looking down with a smile regardless |

I'm going to a funeral of an old workmate next week. I will go in my work clothes as I'm just going to the crematorium then back to work. If I was going to the full thing I'd wear a suit and tie. |

I can really see that was an excuse but I can't argue with them having my respect for turn up and paying respects for the rest of us that haven't .but we all pay our respects innour own private way . |
