Well after a hectic day we are all sorted out.
Christmas Tree and Decorations Up - Just need a shot of Valium to bring the boy back down to earth!
Christmas Shopping Done - At Last!
Dinner Suit/Party Dress bought - Ready for AbFabs New Years Eve
House Cleaned from Top to Bottom.
Just gotta wrap the presents and get my Tonsils out next Tuesday and hope I am back on my feet in time to enjoy it all!  Talk about timing  |

More out of necessity than choice to be honest.
I found out about the op at 5 last night  . And the recovery seems to vary from 7 days to 3 weeks depending who you speak to.
But we are so pleased with ourselves had to go and get the Ben and Jerry's in as a pat on the back! Probably not the best idea as I suspect that's all I am going to be eating for a week  |

Yeah, they recommend crunchy food not ice-cream after your tonsils now.
It took me two weeks but I wasn't helped by the face that the morphine made me hurl as did the opiate based pain killers the hosp gave me - I had to go back after my throat started to bleed!
And when they say you should isolate yourself from people they mean it!!! A friend of mine caught a cold when she decided that a trip to the cinema didn't count as being amongst people! Apparently a cold and the sore throat that goes with it is hell when you've just has your tonsils out!
But if you follow instructions you'll be fine. |

Well I'm impressed I thought I'd done well putting two trees up and decorating them presents were all wrapped Thursday and are now under the tree. But the cleaning can wait till tomorrow.
